I'll have to post a timeline on my site someday, though I will have to rework some of the older short stories because things have been unfolding in the books more quickly than I originally thought they would!

This one takes place shortly before Book 3.Lindsay Burokerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07955277387824031696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1076379992324935784.post-25650207035920533752012-01-16T20:24:30.698-05:002012-01-16T20:24:30.698-05:00Thanks for writing in -- and kudos for finding thi...Thanks for writing in -- and kudos for finding this blog. As you can see, I've only just started it, and I haven't officially announced it anywhere.

I read quite a bit, and I should know better than to say never. Who knows? Maybe I'll love the next book you write.

Best,
SaraSarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14347905141302222168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1076379992324935784.post-37338804988163827282012-01-16T06:37:18.732-05:002012-01-16T06:37:18.732-05:00Dear Ms. Meehan,

I apologize for any offense resulting from the remark on my site. If I can think of a way to revise that while still maintaining the caveat that this book isn't for everyone, I shall.

You're absolutely right, the style of this story was a choice made and fully committed to. That was a tough decision, as I knew there were would be some wonderful readers who would be turned off by it. Eventually I decided to stick to my vision, knowing that in other books and stories, I would be free to make them less complicated.

Thank you for taking the time to write such an insightful review. I'm sorry that this book wasn't for you, but please be assured its shortcomings have been noted. I do hope that as my body of work grows, you'll give a different story of mine another chance. I can assure you, there is only one This Brilliant Darkness tale in this writer's bag of tricks.

Have a great week,

RTRed Tashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18329547876023423333noreply@blogger.com
